This policy explains what personal information London Fano collects through this website, how we use it, and your rights. It sits alongside our Cookie Policy.
Who we are
London Fano is an independent UK advocacy group. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this site. If you have any questions about this policy, please get in touch.
What we collect, and how
When you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, reason for contact, and message you provide. We only ask for what we need in order to read and respond to your message.
How your message is handled
Contact form submissions are sent to us by email and are not stored in a database on this website. Your message reaches us as an email, which we keep only for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a reasonable record of correspondence, after which it is deleted.
Lawful basis
We process your message on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and carrying out our advocacy work, and, where you have chosen to contact us, your consent in doing so.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information or share it for marketing. It may be handled by the providers that operate our email and website hosting, acting on our instructions. We may disclose information where we are required to by law.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal information, including the right to access it, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to object to or restrict its use. To exercise any of these, contact us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time, and the current version will always appear on this page.
